Kai Graves-Blanks, a senior at Upland High, prevailed in the boys 110-meter hurdles final in a wind-aided 13.75 seconds at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Graves-Blanks and fellow Upland senior Delaney Crawford became the first teammates in championship meet history to sweep the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles crowns in the same year. Graves-Blanks finished second in the 300 hurdles behind Crawford in 37.33 seconds, as Upland placed runner-up overall with 40 points.
